Intelligent Software Agents Technologies

Agent-based technologies is a new paradig for conceptualizing, designing and implementig software systems that act autonomously on behalf of users, across open and distributed environments, to solve complex problems.

Semantic Web

Semantic Web, as defined by W3C, allows data to be shared and reused across different elements (e.g., application) via a common framework. The ultimate goal is to enable computers to do more useful works by interpreting the meaning of data on the web.

Situation Awareness

Situation Awareness refers to the ability of understanding the meaning of critical elements of the environment to make decisions in complex and dynamic arreas. Situation Awareness means being aware of what is happening around us in order to understand how information, events and actions impact on our objectives and goals in the future.

Computational intelligence address complex real world problems, through a set of nature-inspired computational methodologies and approaches, when traditional approaches are ineffective or infeasible.
